Testing is Actually Fun

This week we have been doing the state tests. Taking them is actually fun. We have all morning to do it, and if we finish we get to read. I'm normally done at the beginning so I have a long time to read. So far during testing I've finished 2 books. Next week is the last week of testing. Also, during testing we get to chew gum and have some snacks. This week I've finished the language arts test and one of the science test. I really think I got good scores on them. I can't wait until next week so testing can be done.

That's great that you enjoy testing! And that you get to do fun stuff like chew gum. We never would have been allowed to do that in my school. :-)

I always loved standardized testing when I was in elementary and high school, probably because I was able to answer every question and I didn't have to study! My sister and I thought it was hilarious to watch our parents when they saw our test scores...because on one notable occasion when I was in third grade they started *ahem* swearing in amazement. Turned out that even at the age of 9 my spelling and math scores were on par with that of a college student. That was pretty cool :-)

I'm about to head into final exams and I'd much rather take standardized tests than try to write 40 pages within the next 5 days!
