School Again

Tomorrow we have to go back to school. That means earlier bedtimes and waking up at 6:30 so we can catch the bus at 7:15. I don't really like going to school but I know how important it is. My favorite subject is math and I always get an A on that subject. The worse thing I don't like about school is riding the bus to school and back home. The bus is noisy and we get off at one of the last stops. I just wish vacation was longer.

I didn't get to ride the bus when I was in school and I remember thinking it was so cool. Do any of your brothers or sisters ride the bus with you? How long does is the ride?

Have you ever tried crocheting with fabric? I used to crochet rugs and baskets out of 1-inch fabric strips.

Julia, my kids go back to school tomorrow too and we are all a tiny bit sad that Thanksgiving holiday is over! Have a good week.

Have a great week at school. Great that you love math but I bet English is not far behind because you do so well with your blogging.

Don't worry, Christmas break will be here soon! Too bad about the bus ride - my sister and I always walked since school was a mile from our house. My dad, however, went to school in England and had to walk 2 miles to get to the train, then ride the train for 15 miles just one way in order to get to school! The walking bit was right next to the river, which was nice, but there were no street lamps anywhere in the countryside, so at night he found it pretty scary :-)

I hated the bus. We always had to get shipped across town. My high school was about 9 miles away - but it was downtown! Had to go by major highway, then on an interstate, switch over to another interstate, etc. With traffic... well, it was a loooong ride. o well, I always talked with my friends or read a book. Sometimes got my homework done so I was free when I got home.
