School Already

School was fun today but I can't believe the weekend is over. I had fun with math and I love what were doing now, adding and subtracting positive and negative numbers. It is soooo easy. I'm also crocheting a scarf for my teacher for Christmas. I learned a new stitch to make it that my grandma showed me. It's coming along. The more I work on it the sooner I will be done.

In my class we read a lot of books. Every time you read a hundred books you get to eat pizza with your teacher. I have sixty-five points and that is good since it is still like the beginning of the year. I like reading adventures or mysteries. One of my favorite series is the Anthony Horozitz books. I've read Ark Angel, Skeleton Key, Scorpia, Snakehead, and Point Blank. They are really good books.

Math and reading were two of my favorite subjects when I was in school..and science. I still love to read as often as I can. I love to crochet, but only know one stitch. If I had more time,I'd probably crochet more. Have a great night.

Good going in school!!! Nothing like a good book to read. I love mysteries also.

I think making your teacher a scarf is a WONDERFUL idea. She will be so thrilled.

I've always been a reader and read each night. Yesterday morning I vegged out and stayed in bed snuggled in my fleece sheets with my book all morning. There was about an inch of powder snow on the ground and on the tree brances. It was pretty looking out at the trees from my cozy, warm bed.

I always gave my daughter books as part of her Christmas gifts and buy lots of books for my granddaughters now.

Reading is something you'll love all your life.

That is so thoughtful of you to be crocheting a scarf for your teacher. Gifts like that are the most treasured.

I've never lived where it's cold enough to wear a scarf, but I'm sure your teacher will appreciate that during the rest of the winter months! I loved subtracting positive and negative numbers, too.

Excellent job with your reading. Your cousin Brian likes series too. He enjoys Myth and Legend type books and has read most of the Beast Quest series. He even requested them at his school library and was really proud when they were some of the new books ordered. Will you post a picture of the scarf when you finish it? :-) Love you!

I love reading!!! I've read over 100 books so far since June. Mystery books are the best!! I really don't like math though.

reading is one of my favorite things to do in the whole wide world. I noticed a few posts ago you said you were reading The Sign of the Beaver by Elizabeth George Speare, right? Her other books are very good too. My favorite is The Witch of Blackbird Pond. Have fun reading and eating pizza!
