Today was school. We had a math test and it had twenty questions. I got a 100%. We also had a new student today. She seems nice and I showed her around. I think were pretty much friends. My mom drove us in the morning but we rode the bus home. Every Monday we get out at 12:30 but every other day we get out at 3:25. I guess school is alright but I wish we had more vacations. Christmas vacation is almost here and I can't wait.
In my class were reading a book called The Sign of the Beaver. I really like that book and were almost done with it. I think I have the nicest teacher. She gives us time to do our homework at the end of the day and I always finish it.

You did great on your math! I loved math when I was in school. I think it's because I had a great 5th grade math teacher.

When do you go to school in the morning? You are truelly lucky to get half days on mondays. We certinely don't get that over here.
You wishing for more vacations reminded me of something: Have you ever read the book Pippi Longstocking? In the book, Pippi wants to go to school when she finds out her neighbor friends get Christmas vacation and she thinks she is missing out on vacations by not going to school. It's a really funny book. I think you would like it. My daughters Kristen and Katya laughed and laughed when we read it together. But, Pippi is very naughty, so I tell them not to get any bright ideas!!

Your lucky to get out early every Monday! I never did, and the schools in my town still don't!
I loved school but, I also LOVED the breaks. I loved playing outside all day with my friends, and watching little house on the prairie on t.v. with my Mom.
Congrats on your 100%! That is so nice of you to show the new girl around. When I was little, my Dad was in the Army and we moved a LOT (almost once a year), so I was always the new girl. I was always so thankful for the people that would be nice to me the first days I got there. Sure did make it a lot easier to be the new person in school.
